Shannon Marta Paige

Shannon Paige is a senior at Emory University originally from Baltimore, MD. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology and is involved in a host of campus activities. Shannon is a student justice on the Alcohol Review Board, President of Students Promoting Education Among Kids, and a 2007 Community Building and Social Change Fellow among many other things. As a fellow, Shannon worked with the Hollowell Partners on Education and Atlanta Public Schools in an effort to increase community involvement in select group of schools in Northwest Atlanta. Throughout her time at Emory Shannon has served on several selection and advisory committees. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc; a public service organization. Shannon is currently a prevention intern with the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy, holds a part time jobs and volunteers with children on a weekly basis. After college, Shannon aspires to be a child advocacy lawyer, however prior to attending law school she plans to join the Teach For America Program.
